Personal History
Hello, my name is Braxton Manzanares and I am from Pueblo Colorado and I currently ride a 2019 Yamaha YZ250F. Before that, I was riding a 2006 Yamaha YZ250F that I just got tired of fixing all the time so I decided to make the investment and get a new bike. I have just recently started getting into motocross racing within the last couple years and have absolutely fallen in love with the sport. I grew up around 2 wheels all my life but have never had the chance to race motocross until recently this last fall (2018) and ever since I raced, it has started a fire within me only to get better and better every time I touch the track. I strive to become a better rider and only get better from this day forward.
Riding Goals
Some of my riding goals would consist of becoming more confidant, being more aggressive, and getting smoother technique. When I say be more confidant, I mean having the mindset of I AM going to WIN. I love having a winning mentality and the positive vibes within it. Another thing is being aggressive on the track such as taking away opportunities for other riders to pass and getting in their way to keep the position. Lastly, I would like to be more consistent with my technique for everything I do from cornering to jumping to having the right body position for the correct opportunity to decrease lap times.
