Personal History
My name is Braxton Keiffer. I am 9 years old. I live in Lancaster Pa. with my Dad, mom and 6 year old brother and our family dog Lucy. I have been riding Motocycles since I was 3 years old , riding around in my yard. My first track race with in 2011 and I haven't stopped since. I love to ride motocross. I like playing other sports like swimming, football and wrestling. My favorite sport is motocross. I wish I could ride everyday. I love watching motocross on TV. My favorite riders are Ken Roxzen, and Ryan Dungy. I hope one day I can ride as well as they do.
Riding Goals
My goals in motocross are to have fun, become a better rider and WIN!!! I have started training with a local rider to practice cornering, body positioning, property techniques and more. I want to get better and faster. A long term goal for me in 2015 is to qualify for Loretta's. I known this is a challenging goal but with hard work, perseverance and support of my family I can do it.
Competitive Highlights
This is my third year racing. I have been riding the 50cc classes and 65cc. In 2012 I won 2nd place in Motoramma arena cross. In 2013 and 2014 I placed 1st in Motoramma area cross. In 2012 through 2014 I placed 1st in the local Mainline series. My dad and mom recently bough me a new 65cc. I have been learning how to shift correctly through turns, and jumps. I have been getting much better since practicing and placing 4th in my first 65 cc race. I have been improving and recently placed 1st in a MDRA 65cc class. I look forward to the 2015 racing season and seeing all my great racing friends again.
