Personal History
I am 48 years old and have been involved with motorcycles, and racing, since I was 13. I live in sunny Southern California with my bride, Gina, and my two beautiful kids, Makayla (17) & JD (15). I am an Education Specialist for Capistrano Unified School District. Currently, I work with 1st, 2nd & 3rd graders that are diagnosed with Autism and other learning and behavior disorders. I love my profession and also enjoy the flexibility (time) I have for motorsports with my family and friends. I’m also an active member of Mariner’s church South County. When I was 13, my father opened up a local motorcycle shop. I grew up working, riding, and racing with him and all the employees (friends). I raced Grad Prixs, motocross, as well as, campaigning the AMA District 37 Hare & Hound series. Eventually I went to college, got married and started a family. After dedicating myself to family and career, I had the desire to return to off-road racing and for the past three years I’ve raced the AMA District 37 Grand Prix Series, the HYR 24-Hour Endurance race, and select Grand Prixs (SRA/Gary Jones) at Glen Helen Raceway. I enjoy hiking and mountain biking my local trails for training and family pleasure. I am also a “fair-weather” surfer and enjoy off-road truck/buggy racing.
