Personal History

I’ve been riding since I was 7 years old. Nothing crazy really. Just some woods riding and back yard or field riding. I’ve been to a few ATV parks with friends and had a blast. I ended up racing the WNYOA hare scramble serious and I didn’t really enjoy it like I thought I would. Then I gave the scrambles another try down in Virginia in the VCHSS series and I liked it a little more but it still wasn’t my cup of tea. I decided to start racing Motocross last year and I would like to think I did pretty good considering it was my first time on a track. I was a podium finisher nearly every week. This is my second season now and I am currently leading in points. Hoping I can hold the fort down and make it to the end of the season

Riding Goals

My goals are maybe a little crazy but I believe they are achievable. I wanna be the best of the best. Have the best, wear the best, ride the best. I want to learn from the best. Train with the best. And again, become the best. I want young riders to look up to me and be like “wow, I want to be like him”. My most important goal is simple. I want to just live my life. I want to make it home at the end of the day to my family. I want to be somebody.

Competitive Highlights

I’m known as the hole shot king in my class. I was a nobody when I came to the track for the first time. Nobody knew who I was. But they quickly learned I am a top dog in the class. Did I upset some riders? Hell yeah I did. Why? Because I joined motocross about half way through the season and they didn’t expect a nobody to widow their way right into the top spots. I might not be a winner all the time, but I’m a top 3 podium placer almost every time. My results are very consistent. Am I competitive? Absolutely I am. And when I’ve been beat, I learn about what I could do better on and I come back faster and stronger. I watch the experts and pros constantly and I try my best to apply what I’ve learned to my riding style. I’m a fast rider. Especially off the line. When people see that number 33, they already know who’s there to fight for the top spot. Brandon Thornton!
