Personal History
My name is Brandon Rausch. I am 17 years old. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I attend Weddington High School and currently have a 2.7 GPA. I just switched over to a 2008 Honda CRF250R. I just moved up to B class but injured myself at the beginning of summer so I was unable to race the whole Ultra Series. I ride 3 times a week at my private track, and I’m in the gym 5 times a week. I also run and bike every day (alternating). I am very passionate about motocross and love to work hard at it. I love training almost as much as riding because I know what I am working towards.
Riding Goals
I made the move up to B class and Collegboy right before my injury. I will race the Carolina Mega Series. I will also be attending the listed Amateur Nationals (Mini O’s, Lake Whitney, Oak Hill, World Minis) (Ponca City and Loreattas 2011)
Competitive Highlights
2009 Season:
I raced the Carolina Ultra series in 250C on and off so I did not have a good overall finish in the points. I ran random races for experience for the upcoming 2010 series. I trained hard with a Pro “Aden de Jager” and really improved my weaknesses.
2010 Season:
I got into a schedule that consisted of training, practice, and racing. I raced the Carolina Winter Series in 250C and Schoolboy 2. I ended up with 3rd in Schoolboy and 8th in 250C overall. I then raced a couple local races for practice. I tried to qualify for Lorettas in 250C and Schoolboy 1, but could not make it past the area qualifier due to major bike problems. I then decided to make some changes in my program that helped tremendously in the Ultra Series but then had a major injury (not related to motocross).
