Personal History
I was born in Rockford Michigan to a family involved in on-road and off-road racing alike. As a kid I started riding when I was 4 years old on a PW50. I learned to ride with my Dad and his 4 brothers on the land I grew up on. At the age of 9 my family moved to California. That marked the end of my frequent riding and although my passion for the sport remained, I turned my focus on school sport. I played hockey and lacrosse ever since but only had the opportunity to ride about 2-3 times a year. Recently however, I broke back into the sport I missed for so long. At the age of 25 I am at the beginning of my first motocross season.
Riding Goals
Given this is my first motocross season, I hope to finish the Rocky Mountain Motocross Association 2015 Open Beginner class in the top 3. After my first race I learned there is much to perfect when it comes to racing (Starts in particular), and hopefully at the end of my first season I am ready to compete in the 450C class. Long term I would like to become and a top A rider in my region and travel more for racing.
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights are lacking at the moment, because this is my first motocross season. However, I finished in the top 7 in 3 out of 4 of my first motocross moto's (I washed out and broke my front brake rotor in the 4th). Stay tuned for my first event win and a strong first season!!
