Personal History
My name is Brandon Gourley and I am 10 years old from
I have raced three years with impressive results including qualifying and racing in the Loretta Lynn’s National Amateur Championship in 2007 with a 13th overall finish. My family is very dedicated to this sport, and travels together most every weekend to experience different tracks, as well as tougher competition levels. Good sportsmanship, as well as a desire to win off and on the track, helps in gaining respect and recognition for my sponsors.
Riding Goals
I will be racing the 65 Sr. and 85 Jr. Classes in 2008. I train hard daily and riding with my older brother really helps me push harder to improve my skills. I have hopes of attending a training school before the 2008 season begins. My short-term goal is to be faster each weekend of racing. My ultimate goal for 2008 is to place in the top 5 at the Loretta Lynn’s National Amateur Championship. |
Competitive Highlights
I started racing in April 2004 at the age of 7 and raced several local tracks my first season. I have raced almost every weekend during the 2005 through 2007 season. We have traveled to several different states to compete in national qualifiers. My 2007 race results are enclosed with national races highlighted. My biggest 2007 accomplishment was qualifying for and racing at the Loretta Lynn National Amateur Championship in the 65cc 7-9 Stock Class and placing 13th overall. I am also leading in points in the Toyota BlueGrass Series in both the 65 (7-9) class and the 85 (7-11) class for 2007. |
