Personal History
My name is Brandon Devier. I race 65cc 7-9 and 65cc 7-11. I have raced dirt bikes since I was 5 years old. My little brother Hayden also races. Nearly every weekend my Mom, Dad, brother, 2 dogs and I spend the weekend in our camper at a motocross track. My favorite track is Durhamtown Plantation in Union Point, GA.
In the summer time I spend most of my time away from motocross wakeboarding, my 2nd favorite thing to do!
Riding Goals
My goal for the fall of 2009 is to win the championship at Durhamtown and get some races in at other tracks around the southeast. Last year I had a tough run at the LLQ in 2008 with a crash in the first moto. I hope to take another shot at the qualifier this year with better results!
Competitive Highlights
My first race was in December 2006 at Strawberry Hill MX in Pelzer, SC. I was 5 years old on my KTM 50Jr and it was raining! Despite the mud and me falling a couple of times, I had a blast and begged my dad to do it again soon. In 2007 we raced sporadically around South Carolina at Strawberry Hill MX, Parker Valley MX and Cathy's Creek MX (My first Win!).
I started racing at Durhamtown in late 2007. Durhamtown is a massive motocross complex with several tracks and hundreds of miles of trails. I do a lot of my practice here. In 2008/spring of 2009 I won the championship in 50cc Open.
At Chrismas 2008 my dad bought me a KTM 65! I won my first moto after 2 months of hard practice. I missed a couple of gears in moto 2 and ended up 2nd for the day.
This season started on September 12th. So far so good, I finished 1st in 65cc 7-9! I look forward to many wins this season.
