Personal History
I literally just typed out my entire moto life story on here and it deleted this entire thing. Unbelievable…I’m going to give the short version this time.
I am 33 and been riding since I was 5 racing since 12
I am a self employed Hvac contractor in pittsburgh and have gotten to a spot now where I actually have decent equipment to ride and time to put an effort into racing again in 2023
I am coming back off of some major injuries that did their best to slow me down over the years but am getting pretty healthy now. 2022 was a solid year on the bike for me. I struggled with bad insurance that wouldn’t allow me to get anything fixed. I had 3 surgeries in 2020 and have recovered fully.
Ive had plenty of recovery time to study the ins and outs of mx technique and theory for training while injured and now in my later years help the younger kids around with their own programs and skills
Riding Goals
I look forward to putting in the work this off season and to come out swinging in 2023
I have been putting a lot of effort into my riding styles and habits to be able to keep the body healthy and generally be smoother
I expect these things to fully transition into good results next spring and ultimately not blow my R titled knees out
I will be racing mainly the vet classes and if all goes well I will try in 2024 to go to the ranch in +35
Competitive Highlights
I was a consistent racer from 12-18 and did pretty well as a mini rider with no guidance topping out as a top local B rider when a couple of injuries took me down right before graduating high school. Life kind of took over after that as starting an adult life with moto kid finances was a rather rude awakening. Although I hadn’t raced as much through my adult years I always got out there and rode hard with the guys as much as I could. Randomly doing races here and there and finishing well has stoked the moto fire and I am ready to put a solid effort into this next coming season after having a solid year on the bike and being “fully rehabbed” from both knees, a femur and a reconstructed ac joint in 2015. Long story short I am hungry and expect to have some better stories to write in this section next year!
