Personal History

My name is Brandon Christler and I'm 15 years old. I've been riding motorcycles and quads since I was 5 and racing since I was 9. I've tried several different sports but when I started motocross racing I knew this was the sport for me! I have such a passion for this sport and love the competition. I've been to several MX schools trained by Pros and enjoy learning as much as I can so I can put those skills to use on the track. It's rewarding to see the results after working extremely hard. Some of the Pros I was trained by are: Ryan Villopoto, Adam Cianciarulo, Ivan Tedesco, Jake Weimer, Brock Tickle, Jay Whipple, Jimmy Albertson, Darian Sanayei, Tommy Week and Eric Waunch. I even spent the afternoon getting advice from the legendary Bob "Hurricane Hannah!"  My parents are very supportive with me racing and go to all the races, practices and mx schools. They even had a professional track made for me at home so I can get a lot of seat time. I think it's important to have a good attitude on and off the track and getting good grades in school, which I'm getting all A's. Along with motocross racing, I also enjoy trail riding up in the mountains, riding my quad at the dunes and snowmobiling at Mt. Baker, Liberty, Greenwater and Blewett Pass, WA. I have 2 black labs and 3 cats.

Riding Goals

I just started racing on a YZ125 last summer and have been doing really well in my classes placing in the top. In school this year I signed up for weight lifting and my parents got me a set of weights for at home and an exercise bike so I can be in top form for racing.  I know how important it is to have that physical strength and be able to keep up the momentum during a long day/weekend of racing. I'm also planning on signing up for some training from Jay Whipple so I can learn more and stay on top of my game!

Competitive Highlights

This will be my 6th season of racing and I have always been able to maintain in the top of my classes. Last summer I was placing 1st in two separate series, up until I broke my toes, had surgery and got a concussion. After taking some time off to heal my body, I'm feeling great and ready to get back into the racing scene!
