Personal History
I am a Design Engineer Monday through Friday, and an ATV Motocross racer on the weekends. I am grateful for the opportunities I've had so far in my racing career (and life in general!), and look forward to working hard to create more in 2012.
Riding Goals
For myself, finishing 3rd place overall or better in GLMX ATV Championship Series B class in 2012. But more than that, I plan to do everything I can to help rebuild the sport of ATV motocross racing here in Michigan; attendance is down from years past, and a group has formed in an effort to get it back to where it could and should be. I am going to take action in 2012 to help that cause.
Competitive Highlights
The highlight of my racing career was September 25, 2011, at Big Air Motocross in Newaygo, MI. While I didn't win that day, I had the best motos of the year, which were only hampered by unfortunate mistakes I made at the end; I got hung up on bike ruts, losing the lead I had. Despite my finishes I felt like I validated myself as a competitor that day.
