Personal History
I am a 13 year old boy that loves to ride motorcycles. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and always dreamed of racing. This year I finally talked my parents into letting me race Motocross, although we missed most of the season for the North Dakota Motocross Associate series, I finally got to race. My first race was in Bismarck, ND on August 15th and it was better than I ever thought it would be, so much fun and competitive. My family and I live in Sidney Montana on about 60 acres and my brother and dad helped build a motocross track that my neighbors and I ride on all the time, when weather permits we ride 3-4 hours a day, 7 days a week. Besides riding I like to do pretty much anything as long as it is outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, riding bikes and shooting trap. My family raises cattle, chickens and pet goats.
Riding Goals
My goals for the rest of the season is to try and make it to some area cross in South Dakota and attend my first national race in Ponca City on October 15th. We are deciding if I can go the the Texas Winter Series starting the 1st of the year. For the 2021 season my goal is to be top 3 for the NDMA Motocross series, which if I continually work hard and practice I believe this to be obtainable.
Competitive Highlights
Although I started my racing late in the season I am proud of what I have accomplished for my first year racing. I was only able to race in the last 7 out of 16 races because of when we started. I originally had the goal of being in the top 10 by the end of the season on the last race, I was excited at my ability after the first race was done, I finished 6th in Bismarck out of 22 racers in the 85B class, my new goal was top 5, which I accomplished the next day in Bismarck when I finished 5th out of 23 racers. My current standings for the 85B class for the series is 11th and 15th in Supermini even though I missed 9 races. During my last Supermini race in Mandan I met my goal of being in the top 5 in this class with a 5th place finish.
