Personal History
My name is Bradd Beckett. I am 43 years old, I race the 30 Expert class and I am a podium finisher. I am a Navy Vet; I served two tours in the Persian Gulf. I still serve now as Chief Boatswain’s Mate in the US Coast Guard, stationed in Coos Bay Oregon. I am married with two daughters, 7 and 10 years old, that also ride motorcycles. I grew up racing alongside my dad and brother till the age of 19 when I left for the Navy. I did not own a bike for over 15 years, until I started racing a couple years ago and found that passion for the sport again.
Riding Goals
Although I don't intend on hitting every race in the series this season to contend for the championship, I will attend most of them including the one National Event. I pick up my new 2016 KTM 450 XCF this weekend.
This year (2014) I intend to make nearly all the off road series races here in Oregon, along with a couple national events. This will be my most dedicated year ever. I have purchased a new 2014 KTM 300 XC along with many upgrades. My goal is to place in the top three on all races and obtain the series championship.
