Personal History
I have been riding since I was 7. I began my racing career in 2012 with the Mid Atlantic Motocross Association in the 250 C and open C class. I got a late start at racing due to family time constraints and money. I am a shopmore in high school and am a honor roll student. I have always been a hard worker. In 2006, I built a dirt track for my bmx bike in my yard. I moved two dump truck loads of dirt by shovel, by myself. I am mechanically inclined. We used to ride at a local track and I would help groom and water the track with heavy equipment. I do all my own general maintenance on my bike. Otherwise, I have the help of my Dad or my sponsor, Speed Shiftin located in Smyrna DE , who does all fine tuning and major repairs. D.C. Materials in Hyattsville, MD is also a sponsor. I work odd jobs for my neighbors and save my money to buy my own equipment. I bought my own Leatt neck brace, Alpinestars boots, and Shoei helmet. I exercise everyday at the gym and ride my dirtbike every weekend.
Riding Goals
My riding goal is to continue to move up in the MAMA series and improve my techniques and race in area qualifiers. In 2013, I moved up to B class and got a new 2013 Honda CRF250.
Competitive Highlights
I feel confident on the bike. I was able to get a 4th place finish in my first race out of 36 riders in 2012. I have been competitive except for some mechanical failures and one wreck at Actiontown where I could not start a race and a bad wreck in practice at second race at Tomahawk. I finished 2nd and 3rd in the mud at Budd's Creek and I won 3 out of 4 motos at Tomahawk in the 6th race of the season. The 2013 season started on well, I have been finishing between 7th and 12th but continue to train and improve. I am currently 3rd in points in the 250B and Open B class with the MAMA series.
