Personal History
I race in the AMA District 3 in New York
At age 2 I rode my first dirt bike, a PW50 with training wheels and by 3 years old I ditched the training wheels and slow bike for 2007 ktm mini adventure. I've been racing for 2 years now - started at 4 years of age. My 6th birthday is around the corner and I am pushing my mini as much as it can go but before next season I will need a bigger, faster bike and new gear since I'm growing fast.
My maternal great-grandfather was a stunt man in the Joie Chitwood show during the 50s and 60s. My maternal grandfather raced motocross from the time he was my age until he enlisted in the Army straight out of high school in 1983. My father has always ridden dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, and snowmobiles but has really fallen in love with racing dirt bikes since I've been so interested. It is now a generational bonding experience for us all every weekend.
Riding Goals
Someday I dream of racing nationally like my idol Eli Tomac but for now, I've got my sights on 1st place in points for my class. I'm hoping to get a faster bike soon but for now I'm practicing my fundamentals and giving my bike all that it's got.
Competitive Highlights
I'm so proud of myself, I won my first overall this past weekend. I have won motos in the past but end up finishing 2nd overall so I'm super excited to have my first win!
Although there are a lot of new racers on the track I compete with kids older than me. My closest friend and competitor in my 50cc junior class is 7 years old and I race against 8 and 9 year olds in the 50cc open class.
Every race I get faster in the turns and more air on the jumps. I sometimes get off the gate first but am still looking for my first holeshot. The bigger bikes and Cobras beat me to the first bend right now.
