Personal History
I am an 8th grader at Falcon Virtual Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I get good grades because my dream is to attend the Coast Guard Academy and someday fly HH-60 Jayhawk helicopters and save lives. That is, unless, I get really REALLY good at motocross and can make a living at it! But barring that, I'd better have a fall-back plan... I love my mom and dad, even though my dad talks a mean game but is one of the slowest guys on the track (when he rides, that is...). But really, he does a ton for me; he keeps my bikes in tip-top shape, coaches me, and spends lots of time and money helping me chase this dream of one day turning pro. So the least I could do is sign up and see if I can get some sponsorships to help him save some money. Other than MX, I run cross-country and track and finished 8th out of 84th in the (varsity) 8th grade league championships. I really like running and it helps my endurance on the track. I also like mountain biking but can't figure out why I am so squirrely on a mountain bike but can ride a motocross bike pretty well! But no matter what I do, I work hard to improve. I look for the little things I can improve and as a whole, it makes me a better rider.
DEAR POTENTIAL SPONSORS: Please note, I really appreciate ALL the great sponsorship offers I have received from ALL these great companies. I have been busy with school and it has been a slow process of me and my dad looking at which ones make sense for us to accept. But I just wanted to say I appreciate every offer-- thank you very much for your willingness to support a rider of my level!
Riding Goals
I only started racing 9 months ago, transitioning from a trail-riding kid on a TTR-110 to a racing kid on a YZ85. It has been interesting, but those who know me say I get faster every time I go riding. My plan is to race the entire (Colorado) SRAC series this spring in the 12-15 85cc class. My goal is to finish in the top-5 by being consistent and riding smart but aggressively. My overall goal is to hopefully turn pro if for anything, to look back and say I was able to acheive this level of ability. I think these skills developed in MX will serve me well whether on the track or in life.
Competitive Highlights
Raced the entire Aztec Raceway Winter Combat Series and steadily improved as the series wore on. Case in point: I finished 15th in Round 2, but finished 3rd by Round 5. I also raced the Pueblo Supercross in October 2013 and treated the fans to a real exciting crash!
