Personal History

Traveling the country for work and checking out every track along the way!

I started racing in 1997 and stayed busy in the west coast moto scene until ~2008...  Had kids and hung up the helmet up to build my career. But moto has been a part of me from the beginning. As early as I can remember I was drawn to it. No one in my family rode, but for some reason motocross was all I could think about. My dad and I would watch the races every weekend, and I would dream about the opportunity, but we were not financially in a place to provide that life when I was a child.  Not having the money for motocross, I found a close substitute and started racing BMX competitively until I was 12.  My dad came across a 1975 Yamaha GT-80 someone gave to him for free.  We stripped it down and fully restored it together. Not long after, I snapped the frame in half and my dad realized he would have to buckle down and get me a race bike...  The rest is history!

As soon as I jumped back on the bike my wife noticed an immediate difference in my attitude and overall joy. I am now hooked, again, and there is no turning back. I have a beautiful wife and three amazing children who have recently gotten hooked on dirt bikes as well. Now my goal is to spend as many weekends at the track with my family as possible! At the track is my happy place, it is where I make my friends, and find my peace. The MX community is utterly amazing, I thank the Lord every day for the opportunity to be a part of it.

Riding Goals

I have decided to follow my passion and start working on a career in the moto industry. I have set new goals and intend to pursue my passion of opening a training compound instead of climbing the corporate ladder. Doing this will require commitment and support…  I am fully committed, and now looking for supporters to help along the way. Ideally, I am looking for sponsors who would like to collaborate, I want to network and learn the industry while promoting my supporters, and this great sport.

I intend to race as much as possible because I love this sport. It keeps me in the gym when I am not on the track so that I can continue progressing.  Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I was a D1 colligate athlete and work tirelessly to constantly be a better version of myself.  Now, at 39, I feel better than I ever have on a motorcycle! My short-term goal is to make a push and get my ticket to Lorreta's. I have always dreamt of it but traveling across the country for a race was not always an option for me.  Now that I reside in Tennessee there are no more excuses!

One thing you will always get out of me is 100% effort…  I have spent my entire life striving to be the best at whatever challenge I face.  I believe if you put the work in results will follow.
