Personal History
I am a family oriented person who has gotten all of my children involved with riding in one form or another. I am currently getting my 4 year old grandson going beginning his riding career. I have worked at multi-line motorcycle dealerships since 1982. I am a Honda Red Level Technician, Suzuki Gold Level Technician, and have factory training from Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM, and Vespa/Piaggio.
To update my personal information. My grandson is now 8 years old and riding a Honda CRF70 but he and I are working on preparing a KTM 65 SX as his next bike. My 3 year old granddaughter has taken over the KDX50 that her brother started riding on and is not looking back.
Riding Goals
I want to continue to be involved with the motorcycle community and contribute to improve the events that are going on in the Georgia, South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee areas. I want to continue and increase my racing in the regional Hare Scramble and Enduro series. Also want to continue to compete as long as physically possible. I am trying to develop a cardio and cross training regiment that will improve my fitness and endurance. As of May, 2017, I am tied for 1st place in the SETRA enduro series running in the Open B class. There are 2 more events remaining in the series to determine overall champion. I plan on campaigning the SETRA enduro and hare scramble series as well as racing in other series such as MidSouth, SECCA, and FTR thru out the 2017/2018 racing year.
Competitive Highlights
I finished 2nd in the highly competitive 45+ C class for hare scrambles in the SORCS series in 2009.
Consistent top 5 finishes in 50+ C and 50+B classes.
