Personal History
My name is Ben Thompson; I am 13 years old from Surrey, England. At the age of 9 I got my first Dirt bike. Ever since then I have been passionate about motocross. I raced my first dirt bike in a few races but was put of racing due to the fact that I did not really know how to ride then, and other people were flying over my head.
My first dirt bike was stolen, but we were able to replace this bike with a stomp pit bike, which I learned properly how to ride, and later that year my dad bought my friend and I a project bike. I eventually grew out my stomp pit bike and recently bought my current bike, a ‘Yamaha TTR 125L’.
I would love to race again, however two years ago we changed car, and unfortunately the new car doesn’t have a tow bar and my family can’t afford a tow bar for the new car currently, Meaning we cannot transport my bike down to a track. At the moment I race round a field, however I wish to race as soon as possible, as I feel more experienced now.
Riding Goals
My riding goals would be to return to racing and I would love to compete in big races.
