Personal History

main reason i got into the sport is my dads closest friend is a man called davie crockard ( son of gordon crockard ). growing up my dad would take me to watch him at every local race which is when i fell in love with the sport and of course wanted a bike... which i got (pw 50) my dad also rode with davie when they where younger on old maico machinery which inspired me aswell.

with my dad being self employed as a mechanic which he was very successful at he always could afford to buy me the bikes but never the time to take me to races and compete. but that didnt stop me from practicing and trying to get better. at the age of 15 i finally started to do a couple of races on the 85 cc's at the local twinshock grasstrack club. which is where i still race to this day.

i now race a 250 81 maico in the clubman class in twinshock racing  but find it hard to get to every race as in our club there are not even race winnings o pay for small fee's . the reason i do this sport is because i can constantly do it in different ways, by this i mean prepare myself for it. i look at the physical training side of it alot more than other people do. as some of the people i race with may be better for 1 or 2 laps but then fade with my training i can go the whole race at a constant pace due to my physical ability and end up in a better position than they do come the end of the race. also i think the reason i am well fitted for this sport is because i am mentally fit , i know my abilities and how to control them. i think this comes from years of training for this sport, not racing till i was 15 you can imagine how hungry i was to get at it.

now with me doing it on my own i find it hard to afford it with how expensive things are in the sport. weather it be boot buckles breaking to an engine rebuild theres always money being spent, which is why i need the help and with abit of sponsorship and drive i know everything is possible and my goals will be met.

Riding Goals

my riding goal is to compete in modern racing we have over here obviously not on twinshock machinery lol twinshock racing is getting so popular that is now not a cheap sport and is just if not more dearer as the modern racing. so i figure why not switch to modern racing where i can make something of myself and maybe even win some money and trophies or even to achieve my real dream goal which is to become ulster or irish champion.
