Personal History
Hello-
My name is Benjamin Forest and I ride a ktm 50 pro sr. I also have a spare pro 50 as well just because of the ktm clutch system they are very high maintenance. I just turned 7 years old on February 12 and my birth year is 2002. So therefore my mx number on my bike is 212. The first bike I rode was a 2007 Yamaha ttr 50 that Santa Claus brought me for Christmas. It was so exciting that morning, as I came down from my bedroom and saw a blue Yamaha sitting beside the tree. That spring I turned 5 and my dad took me to a couple of tracks to see if I liked it. I did and still to this day I want to be a professional dirt bike rider and get paid for racing. That season I raced all season long. The next season I turned 6 and my dad and mom bought me a used 2006 ktm pro 50 so I could be more competitive with the other bikes on the track. It seems like you need a ktm or cobra to be more competitive. During season two I raced with my ktm 50. The spring season started off great I traveled alot with my parents and race the NEMX and NHC circuit's. I started the fall series and that was going great until August 20, 2008. At Jolly Roger's track at an open practice, I broke my shoulder and then we were off to the Emergency room for x-rays. I was in a sling for 6 weeks. But, I still managed to get a couple of practices in before the tracks closed for the winter. I would also visit Moto-Town in Windsor, Connecticut. It's an indoor track and open all winter long. It was awesome to have many chances to ride there. For my seventh birthday this year my parents bought me a new 2008 pro 50 for my birthday. I was very excited to get a new bike because my (2006 ktm) other bike would always have problem. My dad would be working on it constantly and it was very expensive. My dad said to me that's the last used bike we buy. It seemed like we bought someone else's problems. So that being said, my dad is very excited for the spring season knowing we have a new bike to ride and one for back up. Every time my mother goes by my room she chuckles because my bedroom is like my own little shrine. All my trophies that I've earned are all together in rows in my room. So that's my story of my fun at the dirt bike tracks.
