Personal History

I am 8 years old and I have been riding for about 8 months now.  I am very athletic.  I play all sports that my school offers and then of course I race.  I started playing sports before I was old enough to attend preschool.  I began racing 4-Wheelers in local ATV Rodeos and ATV circle track racing when I was 4 years old.  It wasn't until 2008 that I got on my first dirt bike.  I love it.  I still want to play my school sports but I really want to do this.  I enjoy it and my family enjoys it.  It is something that we all can do together.  In addition, one of my best friends also races.  As a matter of fact, it was his bike that I first got on.  It is something that our families love and what started out as one person's dream has come to be a 3 family, 5 kid racing family.

I also enjoy spending time with my older brother, my friends, and school.  In addition to my sports and racing, as of yet, I have been on the "A" Honor Roll every quarter.

Riding Goals

For the year 2009 I hope to improve my riding skills.  I am not afraid so I will try almost anything.  I am going to work on my balance and that has already improved tremendously.  A local race track has just began a motorcross competition and our first race is next week.  This gives me the opportunity to ride more in a facility that resembles more than just a yard or a field.  I would have to say that my goals for the next year would be to improve, have fun, do the best that I can do, and be as safe as possible.  Given the chance to do this I believe that I will obtain my goals.

Competitive Highlights

In the fall of 2008 I began riding in the Hillbilly Grand Prix.  This is a hairscramble style race where you run through fields, woods, creeks, etc.  I missed the first race but attended every race after that.  I finished the season 2nd in points.  More important than that, I improved dramatically and since then have improved even more.

That is it for my competitive highlights but I hope that very soon I can add more to that short list.
