Personal History
My name is Bart Lewis, I am 9 years old. I was born in berkeley CA and have lived in San Francisco since I was 3 years old. I am in the 3rd grade and attend St. Brendan's school in San Francisco. I love ridding motocross! I started riding motorcycles before I could even really ride a bicycle! I started on an automatic bike and just rode, rode and rode! My parents just got me a KTM, which has a clutch and I am really loving it! The clutch has made such a difference. Everyone said it would be really hard and take a long time to learn, but I picked it up right away! I just love the feeling that I get when I start getting on all my gear, but mostly when I put my helmet on my head, its just me and the track! I have found a sport that challenges me and pushes me to go farther! I also play soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis. I enjoy those sports too, but when I ride my bike I feel independant, confident and like I am doing this for me, team Bart! I have really enjoyed riding all the different tracks around the bay area. My family has taken me to ride at Hollister Hills GP track (which I think is one of my favorites), Argyle MX, MMX, Club Moto and Oatfield to name a few. These tracks are all very different! I have made some friends at the tracks and I look forward to each time I get to ride. I like working hard at school and then getting to get out of the city and out into the open on the weekends. I work really hard at school, but spelling is really tough. I think that math and science are my favorite subjects. I also like dancing, but don't tell my mom, because all the girls like to dance with me and its embarrasing.
