Personal History
Been riding and racing since 1984. I did take a few years off from a major injury in 1998 to about 2004. I own part of a excavation business which keeps me very busy along with taking care of my mother and her property. I have a very understanding girlfriend who stills encourages me to ride and race. I would like to race more but time is the problem. I turned 58 years young in 2020. I can stay with a lot of local experts half my age but may not jump the largest jump on the track like I did in my youth. I never take for granted any sponsorship I received over the past 30 plus years. I had the opportunity to race the pro class from 1995 to 1998 (when I got hurt) for most of the east coast Nationals. Although I never qualified for any race I came close several times. I was always the oldest person on the gate.
Riding Goals
I would like to race one local series in 2021 and compete for a 50+ or 55+ championship. Also would like to hit major east coast vet races when available. As for Loreta Lynn's I think I could qualify but taking a week off from my business.
Competitive Highlights
Raced most of the east coast Nationals (pro class) from 1995 to 1998.
Won numerous amateur races and championship from the later 1980's till early 1990's.
I still have a competitive fire to race.
