Personal History
I would like to apply for rider support. My name is Avery Steen, I am 14 years old. This is my second year of racing. Last year I rode a KX65 to try and get comfortable with newly riding. I grew out of it pretty fast but my parents kept pushing to not go up a bike size until 2022. It was frustrating with the small tires and most the time I got last. But I learned how to ride the bike and eventually grew patience. I started off 2022 race season with a Kawasaki KX100, race #348, which I’m currently riding. My very first race of the season was in Keithsburg, Illinois. I received 1st place out of 7 girls. We ride the MXC and WFO series and some IERA races as well. We also got to attend the Ironman in Indiana this year. That was a fun experience! In the winter we try to race Megatrax and we did an Enduro in Waterloo. I’ve met so many awesome people along the way, I love my race family! I am planning on racing in the Super Mini class in 2023
Riding Goals
My goal next year is to keep having fun and get better at my starts. They are just okay and I know I can do better. We plan on racing WFO series, some IERA series, and hopefully MXC, if they continue. There is a new series posted that we may try and hopefully some GNCC’s also
