Looking forward to the start of the fall series. I will be racing in Washingon State and British Columbia this time.

Plan to ride hard and smart and get some top finishes.

Jun 3 2009

I made it through the 1st round in the Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier at a rainy and muddy track in Washougal, WA. The rain just kept coming and coming and the track had at least 12 inches of mud and was very slick. I slid or fell off my bike 10 times but kept focused on finishing the race.

Didn't make it through the 2nd round of Regional Qualifiers at Washougal in June 2009.

Will try harder next year to get to Loretta Lynns.

We would like to annouce that Austin Pennington #125 has won the Washington State Gold Star Series championship. Piloting his Kawasaki KX85 through stiff competition he was successful in placing podium spots in all 8 races of the series. Most notably was the race at Ward Creek MX in Raymond, Washington where his race bike motor seized during morning practice forcing him to compete in Moto 1 and 2 on a stock KX85. It was in moto 2 that day that he was battling for 1st place when the leader's motor also seized causing Austin to crash into it tearing away his own radiator. Restarting his bike, Austin had dropped back to 5th place, with only 2 laps remaining he picked off each rider to take 1st place overall.

We would like to thank you for your sponsorship assistance this year as it has allowed our family to support Austin in ways that make him more comfortable, confident and safe. Not to mention, getting him to all the events.

Thank you.
Mr and Mrs John Pennington
