Personal History
Hi, my name is Austin Long, I’m 16 years old and I have a huge passion for racing motocross. I got my first bike back in 2014, but I didn’t start racing competitively until 2016. Over the past 4 years my passion for this sport has gone through the roof and every time I put my helmet on either to go train or to go race I always get excited. My family and I enjoy our weekends together at the track, my dad and I both take great pride in my bike to make sure I’m always remaining safe. I love racing motocross because of the shot of adrenaline hits when the card turns sideways.
Riding Goals
For 2020 my racing goals were:
1. Finish in the Top 10 in J Day Offroad points at the end of the year. (Junior B)
2. Finish every motocross race in the Top 3 (Youth C and Open C)
3. Finish the NCSC Spring Series in the Top 3 (Youth C and Open C)
For 2021 my racing goals are:
1. Finish in the Top 7 in J Day Offroad points at the end of the year. (Junior B)
2. Win a motocross championship (either Open C or Youth C)
3. Finish every J Day Offroad race in the Top 10. (Junior B)
Competitive Highlights
In 2020 I won my first race.
In 2020 I placed my highest in Junior B at J Day Offroad
In 2018 I placed 6th in the J Day Offroad Sprint Enduro Series
In 2018 I placed 7th in the J Day Offroad Grand Prix Series
