Rider Updates

Well, the time has come for me to moth ball my gear and bid the bike fair well for a little bit. Have a training rotation to south korea for a few months. I did research the area, there is such a thing as Korean mx. I'm going to try my hardest to rip some laps while I'm there. A big thank you in advance to my sponsors for all your support and patience. Nature of my job takes me away from average life.

Unfortunately, due to the government shut down any races I had planned are going to be cancelled. Have to prioritize my family needs over my racing right now, and funds are questionable. I apologize to my sponsors for this set back. I will be practicing and training, but the racing is on hold.

FINALLY! Have gotten tons of practice drills at my turn track, some track and trail time at various tracks over the last few months. Struggled with confidence and a little fear since my injury. Got back to a race at a track I enjoy and delivered in solid finishes. 250 D Class produced a 1-3 Moto showing. Came from the back both motos since they have their starts dialed for 2nd overall. Unlimited D/C class is open bike size for d/c class riders. My consistency was my best friend today. While the competition had the speed, they also had mistakes and issues allowing a solid 1-1 ride. It was a great day, and a huge confidence booster. The track was rough and the heat was unforgiving here in coastal Georgia. Couldn't ask for more... well maybe mild temperatures.

Well, my latest work cycle is slowing down which will give me more time to ride and race without endangering my career efforts that much. I will have a good 2 to 3 solid months at home before going out for a couple weeks away from home and my bikes. Looking forward to finishing off the BOSS series and getting lots of practice in. I have an engine rebuild kit on the way to freshen up the motor and make sure it lasts. About to drop a good portion of my tax return on some new gear, and can finally get a good gym cycle going using my new Rhyno Power sponsor for a little extra help in the nutrition department. The summer is looking good.

I have been practicing a lot at a backwoods track and trail setup I have been building. Work has been keep g me in the field for many weeks of the past 3 months. I will not be able to race for at least 8 more weeks due to my work schedule. Practicing at alma mx park on 5 March on the 250f.

Back on the bike for the 5th time since I broke my wrist. 1st race time back on a decent track, 1st race back. Could have done better, but I was struggling with a little arm pump and bike set up. Didn't do bad for being out for almost 6 months. Thanks to EVS, SPY optics, Twin Air, and Decal Works MX for all your support.

Unfortunately I will not be able to ride for a few months. I have 3 broken bones in my wrist due to an unfortunate moment during practice back in May. My commitment to the Army will also be putting me in the field for a month. Right now the next time I will be able to ride will be in December. A great thanks to my sponsors EVS, SPY optics, and Decal works graphics for their support and patience. While I cannot ride it will not stop me from pursuing my coaching, photography, and personal fitness improvements where capable.
