Personal History
My name is Austin Hendee, I am a small town boy that loves the outdoors and riding and racing four wheelers! I do fiber as a job and do a lot of boaring. I race in the IAYVHSS and do some mx racing as well.
Riding Goals
I love racing/riding because growing up we were not able to afford a lot of stuff and I had always wanted a four wheeler. So when I turned 15 and was able to get a four wheeler I bought a 2005 TRX400EX and did some racing when I turned 16 and was able to take it wherever I wanted. So I have worked hard enough and have been practicing. My goals for this year and next are to show what I am capable of doing to my family and taking my riding to the next level. I currently now own a 2010 YFZ450R and absolutely love it!
Competitive Highlights
I started out racing at 16 years old at the closest small races there was near me and I wasn't the best. I wasn't placing like I wanted and so I started practicing at the closest track near me and trying to get better. I raced in a mx race that was close to my hometown a few years ago and I raced a beginners class and I placed 2nd and 1st a few times. I was scared to run in any higher classes and I raced a few classes up and I done well got 2nd 3rd and that's a big accomplishment in my eyes because most people didn't think I could. So then I started racing some series and tried new things like XC. Completed my first race for them and have raced a few since and it was also a big a improvement for me to race XC. I have been trying to race more and improve myself and my quad.
