Personal History
My name is Austin Gens. I am 24 years old and I work as a mechanic in Sanger California. My parents got me my first dirt bike when I was 5 years old and I’ve been riding ever since. I mainly ride desert so when it comes to Hare N Hounds I feel super comfortable. A few of the races I’ve competed in have even been on my “home track” or what’s better known as Spangler hills. This is my first year racing dirt bikes and I couldn’t be happier. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but now that I’ve got a few under my belt, my confidence is growing with each race.
Riding Goals
My racing goals for 2022 are to place in the top 5 positions in all of the races I compete in. I also not only want to do the Hare N Hound races but I’d like to some Dual Euros under my belt along with some desert sprints. I would also like to try to compete in the Mint 400 if I am able.
Competitive Highlights
Being this is my first year of racing I don’t have many “career highlights”. So far I’ve gotten in order a 3rd, 2nd, 6th, DNF, and 1st. I hope to have many more firsts in the near future!
