Personal History
My name is Austin Cowett, I live in a little town called Antlers. I first fount out about motocross when I relized I could never find my hobbie and my step brothers did motocross and so did my next door neighbor. Now i'm racing or riding almost every day i'm with my dad and i have got far from a KLX140L to a CRF250R. My dad and me have got really into it, right now trying to get into the state races. My dad spends alot of money on me (spending about $1000 on the last race before it even started) and we are fully comitted. We are hopeing to get sponsors so we can save money for future races. I'm not a real aggressive racer but I will get DIRTY. I think I will be good with a sponsor because we go to almost any place we can race and I mean anywhere(in Oklahoma and Texas).
Riding Goals
I'm hoping to qulify for nationals and get alot faster then i am now hopefully class B. I'm getting a track put in so it will be helping me on getting faster.
Competitive Highlights
I personaly think that my last race of the series about a year and a half ago was one of the highlights of my competitive year. I was 14 years old and it was in the 85-112cc supermini class and 4-stroke up to 150, i have just crashed in practice and there was a sharp pain in my right hand. I took pain pills and it was so cold that day sometime in december, i was trying to race so i can keep my points. I was on my crf150r and trying my hardest to keep up with the racers not doing the best but ok. I won 2nd overall in both my classes despite the injury. We went to the doctor the next day figuring out that it was broke at a really sharp angle. I felt good about it even know it hurt really bad.
