Rider Updates

This race was really hot. It lives up to its name as it was held in Caliente Nevada. The sky clouded up a few times and provided us some much needed relief from the heat. Overall this race went really well. Racer turn out was good. I think I placed well. The official results are being compiled and are due out shortly.

After talking with my mom and dad, I have decided to join a local racing club called the Coyotes. I know quite a few of the members already so it should be fun to have more people to ride with.

As BLM tightens it's grip on the motorsport community, MRAN will begin to enforce the spark arrestor rule for the 2006 race season. This step should hopefully show the BLM that MRAN and its racers are eager to save the sport and comply with its requests.

My mom has received a report from school that shows how well I'm doing and guess what- I'm doing great! I am working on my reading and doing very well with my math. I'm working on being very positive and well rounded as school is a very important part of my life as racing is.

My parents realized that my Suzuki JR 50 wasn't going to compete on a racing level so they bought me a 2005 KTM Pro Senior 50. It handles much better and is very fast. I can't wait until my new season starts.

This was my biggest race yet. During the riders meeting my name was called during a raffle and I won a new chest protector. The track was great. I crashed once but got up and kept going. I finished in 15th place.

What a fun trip. This race was hard because most of it was in a sandy river bed. After my first lap my JR 50 started to stall alot. I still kept going and finished the race in 11th place. Several riders didn't finish this track. The last lap I had to use my legs to push my bike. My dad thinks that the carb may be the problem. I hope he fixes it before my next race.

Today was my very first race. I was really excited. The track was tough but I rode hard and finished. Some of the other riders didn't finish the race. My JR 50 didn't go as fast as the other bikes and I finished 15th. I can't wait for my next race.
