Personal History
My name is Austyn Boyd. I am 6 years old. I have been riding dirtbikes for approx. 3 years. I started racing in 2012 and I love it. Everyone in my family has a dirt bike. I have one sister that is 10 years old and she enjoys riding too. My dad and I enjoy riding together whether its out at our local track or right out in our front yard. I have 3 rules that I live by for racing: 1. Have fun, if you aren't having fun then go home. 2. Jump as high and far as I can. and 3. Race fast. My favorite rider is Justin Barcia.
Riding Goals
I would like to see myself ride for many years and become a professional motocross racer or freestyle rider. Another one of my goals is to do a backflip off a ramp.
Competitive Highlights
2013 was my first year racing and I really loved it. Overall in our circuit I took 1st on my 2006 Mini Adventure and I took 1st on my 2014 KTM 50SX. I am really excited for the indoor series this winter and for next race season to start. My dad just bought me a new 2014 KTM 65SX and I am learning to ride it. We have expanded our bikes once again and for the 2014 race season I will be riding on a 2014 KTS 50SXS. I am very excited to get to race this new bike as we are wanting to start doing some AMA races this year and expand my opportunities.
