Personal History

My name is Austin. I am 5 and a half years old. I have been riding motocross since I was 2 and a half years old. My first bike was a Yamaha TTR 50. It was given to me by my Uncle who also rides and my grandparents. My father, Chris, also rides motocross. My father and Uncle are the two who taught me how to ride my bike. They would take me out on the side of my grandparents house and run beside my bike while I was learning. Within 2 days I was riding the bike all by myself. I love to ride my bike, I also like sports...basketball, baseball, football. I ride my spider man bicycle whenever I can. I have a 2 year old brother that already like motocycles too. Someday he will be riding with me.

I know ride a KTM 50 SX Mini. I have riden in many different states and events. The most recent even that i participated in was the AMA Arenacross. I rode in Nampa, Idaho, Portland Oregon, Reno, Nevada and made it to the finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. I placed 8th out of 13 of the best kids in the whole United States. That was so exciting for me. Now I am training to go to Loretta Lynn's next year (2019). I have been riding at the local track where I live and a track that is about 45 minutes away from my home. I have also been looking for races that are close by..like in Utah or Oregon. Anything that I can race to get in the practice that I need.

I am also looking to upgrade my bike to the KTM 50 Senior series. I have started to bottom out my mini and need something bigger. I can not wait to get a new bike.

Riding Goals

I ride my motorcycle because i like too. I like to race a lot. I jump high now but want to jump higher. I would like to go to Loretta Lynn's track in Tennessee so that I can go pro someday. My mom and dad help me everyday learn new things on my bike. When I watch videos of pro racers I like to mimic them. This is how I am learning to scrub and whip. I would like to find a sponsor so that I am able to get new gear and upgrade my bike. I have gotten bigger this last year so I need to get new riding gear and a bigger bike.

Competitive Highlights

In two years I have gone through two bikes. I have learned how to ride faster and how to jump. I am able to pass other people. When i first started racing I was not able to get my bike off the ground. Now I know that when i come to a jump I have to go faster and i will sail over the jump. It is so much fun.

This year I made it to the AMA Arenacross National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. That was super fun. I placed 8th out of 13 of the best kids in the United States.
