Personal History
My father got me my first bike when I was 7. I was hooked from then on out. I raced until I was 14 and it helped create a great bond between me and my father. Once my son was born and he was old enough to start racing, it was something for the two of us to do together, just like my father and I did. Not too long ago, I met my girlfriend and she encouraged me to get back into personally racing, and it's become a family affair. We live for the weekends at the track with our moto friends and family, and it's been a dream having a girl in my life who loves moto as much as I do, and who is so encouraging on and off the track. She believes in me and my son and pushes us to do our best. Her son has started joining us on these journeys and it's brought all of us closer together. We look forward to doing this for a long time.
Riding Goals
My goal is to earn a spot at the Loretta championship by 2018. I realize my goal needs to be attainable and not impossible, specific and realistic. I have a moto specific binder where i log my practice rides and races, as well as gym and nutrition notes and inspirational quotes. I have training goals at each track I visit.
Competitive Highlights
In my first three races of the 2016-2017 winter season, I finished in 4th, 1st and 2nd respectively, with a qualifying run in the SW LLQ at Arizona Cycle Park.
