Personal History

My name is Ashton Pennington Kreiger, and I am in the 6th grade. My parents dedicated over 8 years to help my sister, Alex, become a Two Time Gold medalist through United States Figure Skating. She is 10 years older than me, and after she reached her goals, my parents knew it was my time. Once again, they are making many sacrifices so I can simply enjoy the sport I love.

I practice whenever I have the opportunity, and race as often as possible. I am extremely dedicated to being the best I can be, and I am excited to see where that takes me. Thank you for your consideration.

Riding Goals

2015 was my first year riding my YZ125. Because of my size, I have never been about to stay on a bike too long, so I hoping to be on a bike that I can grow with. This year, I was still AMA 10, and therefore could not race my 125 at many tracks. However, My parents did get me to JWTF in NC for 5 weeks this summer so I could get use to riding such a big bike. I practice just about every weekend, weather permitting. I am excited to be able to race area qualifiers come 2016. I know I will be the youngest in my classes, I still hope to make top half at the area qualifiers. Eventually, like so many others, my dream would be to make it to Loretta's. This is my dream, my journey.

Competitive Highlights

2013: 2nd overall in the 65 6-9 Class for MSC Motosports.

2012: I place 3rd overall in the Pee Wee Open Class and 4th overall in the Pee Wee 7/8 Class for MSC Motocross! I got my 1st hole-shot this year out of a great group of racers, that was so exciting for me. Something so simple brought me such happiness!

2011 was an exciting year for me as I finished 3rd place for the year. I was happy with my efforts, and loved the HUGE trophy I received at the year end banquet!

Spring of 2010 brought upon me a broken elbow. Looking back, it was actually a good thing because I realized how much I loved the sport, and I was not afraid to get back on my bike. I finished that season in 10th place in Metropolitan Sports Committee (MSC). My hope at that point was to make it to more races the next year, and beat my 10th place year end finish.

Wish me luck!
