Personal History
Hello my name is Ashton Hampton I am 7 years old and I race 90cc stock class at a regional and some national level in my 2016 Yamaha Raptor 90. This year we ran the full MSXC regional racing series all across Kentucky and Tennessee. During our off season we are also running select GNCC National Events this summer. This next season we will be moving up to 90cc Intermediate Limited ATV with the MSXC series.
Riding Goals
I race because I love to race and compete and just love to ride all together. My goal next year is to get podiums and finish the series points in MSXC series in the top five in my class and as high as possible in the AM overall. This past year was my first year racing and I wanna continue to get faster and more competitive as move through my racing career and start moving up through the class ranks. Next year we will be moving up the Intermediate 90cc Limited class and also still Racing the 90cc Stock Beginner Class.
Competitive Highlights
Biggest accomplishment so far is finishing 6th in class at my second ever race in MSXC and racing in my first GNCC race in talledaga speedway finishing in the top 25 in class. Also wrapped up the MSXC year finishing top 10 in overall points for the series. This first year racing has been a learning experience in hopes of next year being very competitive in all classes that I race. I also had multiple top 5 finishes this season before issues of getting caught up behind lap riders causing me ti attempt line ti get around and getting stuck or getting caught up in bottleneck jams on the final lap of the race. Also at the race of our season I was running 4th until the final lap crossing the creek and my quad shit off and wouldn’t start back after hitting the water. That issue has now been fixed so we can keep pushing for them too 5 finishes and podiums in this next coming season.
