Personal History

My name is Ashton Adams, I'm 15yrs old from Marysville, Ohio. I started racing 3yrs ago and I feel like I've been doing it my whole life. I feel like I was meant for this sport. When I'm on my bike flying thru the air there is no greater feeling in the world. It's a rush and a release all at the same time. I love it. I love everything about it. The sounds of the bikes, the smell first thing in the morning when everyone's getting up and ready to go out on the track. I've made some of the best friends I could ever have and we love and respect each other on and off the track. I love Motocross life and hope to do this for a long long time.

My family is my biggest support. My sisters and brothers come to watch and bring my nieces and nephews. My great aunt loves coming and brings the best food on the weekends! Everyone looks forward to seeing Aunt Becky! She is a breast cancer survivor of 13yrs in October and we all wear pink and have ribbons on our graphics to support her. My mom and my dad are my biggest fans and we work hard, play hard, fight hard and love harder. I am making the best memories of my life right now and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Riding Goals

I love being on my bike and would be on it 24/7 if I could. There is nothing more exciting than starting my bike and cranking that throttle until I go out on the track and finally nail that triple and feel like I could puke and smile at the same time. I know, gross. But there's something about being 1st that makes me want to try even harder to stay there. I've only been around this sport for 3yrs but I'm already able to keep up with or beat kids who have been racing for twice as long or more.
This will be my third year going out of state with my mom to train with Scott Plessinger. He's the best at what he does, I really trust what he says and know he loves all us moto kids and wants to see us go as far as we can take this, PRO RACER is my ultimate dream and goal.

So, my plans for this year and next are to just keep getting 1st place as often as I can and keep working hard chasing my dreams and crushing my goals!

Competitive Highlights

Buckeye Series in Ohio 2023

1st place in 250C/30+pts ahead

5th place in 125B/C (I know I would have been in a better position if not for the lack of parts available for the new bikes)

6th place in 125-500 2stroke class     There was no greater rush than taking the hole shot both times against some pros. It was such an awesome feeling knowing I could even race against some of the greatest racers around! Blessed

July '23 -  my latest big achievement was winning the OHIO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 250/TWO STROKE CLASS at CTMX in Chillicothe, Ohio. (July 2023) It was raining so hard I couldn't see with my goggles on and had to put them on my arm. I was neck and neck with my best friend who's been like a big brother to me and when we came around that last corner, I'm not sure how we stayed that close together in the mud and rain and didn't slide or hit each other but started into the whoops and I stood up and leaned forward and got just a little in front of James and took the checkered flag!

It was awesome! I got a number 1 plate and a huge trophy from a beautiful blonde and a bottle of champagne to spray out into the crowd. That was a defining moment in my life and I loved it.
