Personal History
Ryker started on quads at 3 yrs old then got his first dirt bike at 7 yrs old and has never looked back. He immediately took to two wheels says dirt bikes are funner to jump, they have more maneuvering and are just better in every way.
The sport of motocross has taught Ryker priceless life skills. He said it teaches you how to pick yourself up after getting knocked down. You learn to never give up regardless of what place you take in a race. Show up every-time ready to win!
Ryker is known for polishing his bike frame to a mirror finish and taking great pride to keep things clean which has earned him the nickname "show and shine." His dad has taught him about the importance of bike maintenance, safety and overall mechanics.
Ryker's greatest fans are his parents, his younger sister and family who are always heard cheering him on during his races.
Inspired by his cousin and local Tulalip favorite Charlie Cortez #767 "gone but never forgotten" his race stories continue to live on through those of us in the motocross community.
Current sponsors are Tulalip Tribes YS who have helped financially with motocross training camps and continuing to support youth development as he is an enrolled Tulalip Tribal member.
