Personal History
I am 15 and a freshman at Pendleton High School in Pendleton, SC; the only place I have ever lived. Riding is my sport of choice hands down and my parents have been very supportive of me and my goals. I also play football and baseball for my high school. My mom, like most mom's, thinks I'm a great baseball player but I'm average. High school baseball season is at the same time as most of the qualifiers in our area which has made it very interesting. I enjoy most outdoor activities: hunting, fishing and playing on the lake with family and friends. We spend a lot of time on Lake Hartwell in the summer where I not only fish but tube and ski. In the winter I enjoy hunting with my dad and hanging with friends. I try to get as much seat time in as I can, since we don't have a great deal of land for a track and no track close that I can ride everyday as I would like. However, we are able to go to a few local tracks for that much needed seat time.
Riding Goals
I rode in my first Area Qulifier at South of the Border MX in March of 2014 and didn't do as well as I wanted because I fell (testing my parents support) and didn't make the main; though I did not quit or give up during that race. The event itself was a great experience. I plan to attend another Qualifier at Aonia Pass and hope to make Regionals at Muddy Creek in June 2014. I realize that not a lot of riders who have the small about of racing experience as even make it to Regionals but I hope to be one of those riders who does make it. If I don't make it this year I will keep trying and compete in the local Victory Sports Series races that are close enough to attend. I plan to compete in the ametuer races at Outdoor Nationals at Muddy Creek in June 2014 as well. My goal is to make it to Loretta Lynn's and place well there making a name for myself in motorcross.
