Personal History
I have been riding since I was six years old and started out on a Honda 90 quad and then got my first bike when i was 12 which was a KTM 65sx. I moved on a Kawaksaki kx 100 and got a kx250F in June this past year. I ride 2-3 times a week and I currently just came back from a spinal injury that occurred Auguest 29th and what was said to be a 5 month recovery took me two months to get back on the bike. With a daily workout at Gold's gym it helped me speed up the healing process. When I got hurt I had been training with Sean Hamblin for about two months and Ive started training again a week after the doctor released me to ride. I train on a weekly basis mostly at Milestone MX park where I got hurt. Riding is a huge part of my life as well as working out on a daily basis. From my injury I've come to realize that it's easy for people to give up. I had the choice to never touch a dirt bike again, but laying in the hospital bed my dad was standing right by my side saying I would get right back on which at that point I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me. I have a concussion that was a 3 on a scale 1-3 and didn't even remember getting to the track when I had been training for an hour and a half. I could not walk for about a week and was in a scooter in order to get around school. My accident occurred the nigh before the first day of school and I was in the hospital thinking this is how I'm starting my junior year. I came to school two weeks later and with repeating my story thousands of times to people and having people say I can't believe you want to get back on your dirt bike. The fact of the matter is though that if a volleyball, basketball, football, tennis player broke their arm or leg they would most likely continue to play their sport once they were healed, that was the same for me although I broke my back. Quiting was never an option for me, the only reason it crossed b=my mind was because of an injury I thought that would have ended a passion I have. I eat, sleep, and breathe motocross. My room is filled with posters and autographed plates, I watch all the supercross and national races, I work out everyday to strengthen my physical being so that I can ride, and I train and work hard to improve areas needed. I love the sport and would never change the the consequences or choices I've made!
Riding Goals
My goals for this upcoming year is to race Gold Cup and Mammoth. I will continue to train and work towards these things!
