Personal History
By day I'm a full time paramedic. On the weekends and any spare time I have I am in the shop wrenching on my dirt bikes, or I'm out riding. I love riding the hard enduro style trails, and enjoy the fast flowy stuff. I'm working on getting better and faster in the desert. I grew up riding ATV's in glamis CA. I have always had a love for riding. As an adult I started riding dirt bikes. I have always wanted to race, and this year I decided that this will be the year to start racing the state wide circuits. I will mostly be racing the WEBE series and I will throw in some RMEC (rocky mountain enduro circuit) races as well. There are no words to describe the love and passion I have for riding. I have been blessed with an amazing family that supports me and a 6 yr old daughter that wants to race her KTM 50 senior pro with me. Racing is a family sport for us. I have lots of support from my work colleagues and even have 1 that will be racing with me this year. I live on the western slope of Colorado. We have some of the best riding in the WORLD out here. Fast desert, gnarly single track, we have it all. And its all right in my backyard.
Part my job is getting to cover lots of different types of events that are deep in the back county of Colorado as a paramedic medical sweep team. I travel all over the state doing medical support for mountain bike enduros, moto enduros, back country running races, and gravel bike races. I always have to keep my various bikes in top running shape, because in my line of work, me getting to injured people can be a matter of life or death. Which is why my riding abilities have to be on point. Whether is a gravel bike race, or gnarly single track in the back country.
Riding Goals
This is my first time entering into a racing series. I plan on racing the womens C class. I plan on pushing myself harder and faster every race and hope to have some podium finishes this year. My main goal is to simply just be better then I was yesterday. "Won or lose, at least I got to play the game."
