Personal History
My name is Ashleigh, I live in good old California! I have been riding since I was about 6 years old. My first bike was a little Honda 70, and I eventually ended up onto a Cr80r race bike, and now I currently ride a Yz125. I love to hillclimb, trail ride, and occasionally ride the track at my favorite parks, Hollister, Carnegie, Frank Raines, and Metcaf. I may not be a pro rider, but I get pretty competitive, and I always push myself to do new and more challenging things to become a better rider. I try to ride as much as I can, which is about once or twice a week, working around juggling school and work! I used to play softball, but ever since I got too old to play, riding my dirt bike has been my life and my passion. It always keeps my head on my shoulders, and it's my favorite way to blow off steam or stress, and of course, its my favorite way to have fun! I'm always at events such as hillclimbs since my boyfriend and my friends race in them as pros. You can't pull me away from anything that has a motor and two wheels!
Riding Goals
My goals are to become the best rider I can possibly be, and of course win some trophies along the way! I haven't competed in any races yet, but my plan is to start getting into hill climb rounds, and get into some harescrambles, or even race on the track if i get to where I want to be! I'm not the best track rider, since I'm still trying to get comfortable on my 125, but for some reason it seems to interest me a lot more than hill climbs, so I'm sort of leaning more towards working on my track skills, and trying to get into some races! I'm 100% determined to become the best I can be, and I don't plan on anything getting in the way of my dreams! I am looking forward into getting into some races, whether its hillclimb races, or motocross racing, I can't wait what my future has in store for me!
Competitive Highlights
Since I haven't raced, all I can say is that I am always pushing myself to my limit, and beyond. I never let myself give up until I feel like I got it right. If I make a mistake, I don't let it bother me, I just get back onto my bike and try again. My boyfriend is a pro(in the making) hillclimber, and he's always there to coach me and help me move through my weak areas. I'm always willing to try harder, and Im definitely willing to try things over and over until I get them right. You can say I am a go-getter!
