Personal History

Arthur Anthony Pelletier IV, 28, from Meriden, CT. I grew up in this quiet town with not much to do but, find my own way to have fun. I mostly rollerbladed and rode BMX. All my friends had dirt bikes and quads but,  after my father had left us, there weren't enough funds laying around to support my dream of being able to ride my own two wheeled monster. Once in a while I'd get to mess around on a friends PW 80 but, that's about all. By the time I was able to get my first job, any money I earned had to go toward trying to buy a car and paying bills. It wasn't till about 5 years ago when I met the people up at a local shop "Strictly Dirt" that I ever got the ball back and rolling. I had bought lots of old beat up bikes that needed work so, I enlisted in their help. With my quest for knowledge and mechanical ability, I learned the tricks of the trade and began rebuilding my first bike. From there my love and passion only grew stronger. I would go through several beater 2 strokes before landing any decent bikes.

-1996 YZ 125 (Motor was only produced for 1 year with no crossing cases and they were shot) junked.

-1993 YZ 250 (First bike I ever got to ride. Blew it up at southwick)

-2001 CR 125 (The first bike I fully rebuilt from the wheels up)

-2007 KX 250F (Learned the ways of the 4 stroke)

-2008 RMZ250 (First ever race bike. First round broken Wrist)

After all the failures (beside the 08' that I sold to obtain the 11') I ended up with my current pair of Suzuki's, which I love more than anything else in this world. Learning the ways of racing has been another hard journey over the last 3 years but, this past year has opened my eyes and my mind to what I can do. Hopefully, I can keep the injuries to a minimum again next year. I'm not the fastest guy on the track but, my equipment is always kept up to factory standards.

On a bit of a side note. There are several companies who's product's I have completely comitted to for their excellence. You could try to pay me all you want but, I will never use anything but the following products;

Gaerne - Gaerne boots are the most stylish and comfortable footwear, I have ever had the pleasure of putting my feet in.

Rockstar Energy - I'm seriously addicted and need rehab.

Ryno Power - My body deserves the best after what I put it through, so Ryno Power supplements are the only ones entering it.

Dragon Optics - I've been hooked ever since I was a kid. Probably because I love the mythical creatures.

One Industries Gear - It's just too cozy and stylish to go anywhere else. I am ONE.

Riding Goals

I strive to be the best I can be. I train hard when not on the bike or at work and look to push myself as far as my body, mind, and bike will allow. While I am too old to go pro, I would like to make it to the "A" class before I'm 30. The people I have surrounding me and supporting me now are just amazing, and with enough mental training and some more laps, I'm sure I can finish off 2015 at the top of the Novice class and push in to the Am's.
