Personal History
Hi, my name is Ariana Collins and I’am thirteen years old.
I love my family and friends. I have one brother that also rides with me, a mum Angela, and a Dad Jeff that sometimes sweeps and takes me places to train as well as mum. My family are all very supportive.
Riding is my absolute favourite thing to do weather it’s training or racing, Flowing through the bush, brushing past trees, going up and down hills, and skidding out on the grass track ocasionally.
I also like to cook and take my baking away with me on my crazy adventures. Once a year we go for a snow ski down the mountains, and camping at the beach surfing for Christmas with our friends.
Riding Goals
Currently I’am riding a Husky 2018 85 big wheel and I’am loving it.
The main reason I’am racing is because I love it. I love it going at high speed brushing trees through the bush and up and down massive steep hills. I like the feeling of the wind skidding around a fast grass track, and across heaps of sand, dirt and jumping big logs, tyres and blocks in a stadium. I also like to have a training session on my trials bike that leads me up trees sometimes.
This year my goals are to complete the Australian Off Road Series (AORC), New South Wales Off Road Championships (MNSW), and club days with oyster bay (OB).
In the AORC there are no junior girls so I’am up against the 13-15 year old boys and my goal is to get top ten. In the MNSW there are at the most eleven girls, and out of that I’am currently coming 2nd. My goal is to keep the second position. And at Oyster bay club days my goal is to get top three in J2, and top 2 in JG.
My goals for the coming year is to be doing all the series I’am this year, and doing some of the amcross/motor x. I’am also aiming to do Hattah.
Competitive Highlights
- At the end of last year I got voted in for an encouragement award from oyster bay club.
- For MNSW I got an outstanding achievement award.
- I also received a second last year for dirt x witch is motorctoss.
- And so far this year I’ve got a 2nd and two 3rds at the MNSW.
- curently coming sixteenth out of 23 at the AORC trying to work my way down to top ten.
