Personal History
We are Andrew, Lauren and Rowan Spender, this application is to hopefully get some support for my daughters who are new to the Motocross.
I've been around the sport all my life but never ridden and we got the opportunity for my girls to ride about 2 years ago, so we took the plunge.
So all 3 of us are now riding, we have a total of 75 rides, about 100 hours total bike time, we are learning and doing our motocross journey together as a family.
Dad is our only sponsor and mechanic, he gets the bikes ready every week, we never ever go riding with dirty unmaintained bikes.
We practice as much as we can and this year 2023 we are also racing with a club called GEST Hastings.
We did the Coventry Junior Motocross Winter series and will be doing it again this year, its the best practice.
Rowan has a KX85 small wheel and is just about to get new plastics and graphics!!!!! we'd love her to have a new main sponsor!!!
Lauren is about to move up to a 125cc bike as she is 15, she will get new graphics when she gets her new bike.
We have over 1,000 followers on instagram and would love to work with a company that helps us and we can rave about you every where we go and on social media.
We also have a very big event coming up at the end of September with the British Girls National, its the equivalent of the girls finals at Lorettas, all the best girls from all over the UK will be there.
Riding Goals
Our riding and racing gaols are
1 - to do as well as we can in the girls national.
2 - finish as high as we can in our club championship with GEST.
3 - We are currently, dad is 16th of 40 in the VETS, Lauren is 9th of 20 in the super mini, Rowan is 11th of 22 in the SW85 group.
4 - Our dad makes us focus, focus, focus on technique so we are looking to have more coaching and training.
5 - we also record our lap times everywhere we go so we can work on better lines and techniques to be smoother and faster each time we ride.
6 - Making more friends as motocross is the best sport in the world with the best friends and community
Competitive Highlights
1 - Rowan came 8th in last years Coventry winter series before spraining her ankle.
2 - Lauren came 16th in last years winter series
3- our current positions in our club championships
4 - Getting in to the British Girls national later in the year
