Personal History
I became interested in riding Motocross after attending a local arenacross race in 2001. My first dirt bike was a PW 50 and I began racing when I was 8. Over the past 9 years I swiched to a KTM 50, then a KX 65. My first 85 was a YZ85 that I rode for about a year before getting my Honda CRF150Rs. I mainly raced local events for fun. In 2011 I decided I wanted to race more competitively and qualified for the NMA Ponca race. After qualifying for Ponca, I broke my leg (Tib/Fib) in April of 2011. I was off the bike for about 6 months and started ridding again late October 2011. I raced the Loretta Lynn South Central Area Qualifier at Gravity Alley in 2012 and qualified to go to regionals. However, we decided not to attend the regional since my speed what it needed to be to qualify. We decided to attempt to qualify for the NMA Grand National in Oklahoma Motosports Complex. I finished 2nd in 85 Mod, 4th in 85 Stock, 3rd in 150 4-Stroke, 6th in 85 Open, and 7th in SuperMini.
After taking a break from Competition, I have started back competing in 2021 on a new YZ 250F Monster Edition.
Riding Goals
I would like to improve my speed and continue to race local races as well as select national events. My Goal in 2022 was to qualify for a Loretta Lynn Regional. For 2023 my goal is to qualify for Loretta's
Competitive Highlights
I have won several local races through the years and have been competitive at several arena cross races during the past few years. I was a lock in for first place in the D19 Winter Series, a 6 race series, in both Supermini and 85 12-16. However the broken leg on the practice day of the final race weekend cost me the win and I got 2nd in Supermini and 85 12-16. Racing 5 classes at the NMA Grand National with a couple of Podium finishes is certainly the highlight of my competitive racing. in 2022 I qualified for LL Regional at 3 Palms in botht eh 250C and 450C Limited classes.
