Personal History

My name is Andrew Gill and I am 18 years old. I race motocross and have done so for 9 years from racing 65cc motocross bikes right up to now racing a KTM 250sx-f.

I've currently got moved up to grade A for 2011 season, and will be racin a CRF 250 2011.

At present im training in the gym 4x a week and also attend circuit classes.

I also enjoy swimming, cycling and football.

Riding Goals

In 2011 I will be aiming to compete in the Adult Ulster and Irish MX2 championships and finish on the Podium at all rounds and hopefully be in with a shout at the end of the year of winning at least one or both of these championships. I will be switching bikes to a Honda crf 250 which I am hoping to obtain soon.

Competitive Highlights

This year didn’t just go to my plans as I broke my arm badly at the 2nd round of Ulster championship. This put me out all season and only got back for the last round of the Ulster championship and finished 3rd overall in grade B MX2 on the day and for the last 2 rounds of the Irish championship where I finished 1st overall on both occasions in grade B MX2 also.

In 2009 I had a successful year where I won the MCCNI seniors club championship and won the Norman Watt seniors championship. I finished 2nd at the Northern Ireland Super National and 2nd at the Easter 2day. Through out my career I have won the MCCNI club championship for 3 years in a row and the same for the Norman Watt championship. I have finished 3rd in the English Super National at Chippenham in 2007 when I was on my CRF 150 in the Big Wheel 85cc class and finished 6th in 2008 on my CRF 250 on my first year in the Senior School boy class.
