Personal History
Andrew Failmezger
Age: 22
I was introduced to riding dirt bikes by my dad when I was six years old after watching one of his favorite childhood films On Any Sunday. It wasn't until I was eight years old that I made my first start in a harescramble on a KTM 65. While I only made it half way through the race before the shift lever fell off and I wasn't able to finish I loved the entire weekend and couldnt wait to do it again. Now fourteen years later a lot has changed but I still race and ride as much as possible. Last year I married my wife Liz who thankfully enjoys traveling and hiking which works out great for all the races we have gone to together and all the races we plan on going to in the future. I currently work as an automotive mechanic and generally enjoy it but I did graduate from SUNY Oswego with a business degree earlier this year. My favorite things to do are traveling and hiking new places with my wife and of course riding. While I intend to race and perform well no matter what situation I'm in, sponsorship for the 2017 season would relieve some of the financial stress and allow me to represent myself and my sponsors better while helping me focus on training and performing well on the weekends.
Riding Goals
For the 2017 season I plan on competing in the East Coast Enduro Association series AA class and compete for wins every round with the end goal to win the year end grand champion award. I also plan on competing in the Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro series in the A-Lite class while representing myself and sponsors in a positive and professional manor. My third goal for 2017 is to qualify for and compete in the 2017 International Six Days Enduro In France which has been a dream of mine for years but I feel that next year its a realistic and achievable goal.
