Personal History
It has taken many years to not only come to the realization that riding is my escape from the alacrity of the life of a teenager, but my dirt bike has become my only remaining connection to a very close friend who unfortunately lost his life doing what he loved; riding his dirt bike. Because I hold riding my dirt bike so dearly to me, I can’t help but continue to compete to carry on his legacy at the races. From coaching me on the correct bike to buy, to “leading the charge” up and over the first hill I ever climbed, I know his passion for riding has breathed life into my love for the sport. My passion for riding and thirst for a new adventure captures the true essence of who I am as an individual; and without it, I am incomplete. As I move on from high school into adulthood, I will continue to utilize the skills I have gathered through riding and racing. I look forward to a new host of college challenges and to never back down. I have learned that any obstacle, both academically and physically, can always be conquered with the right mindset and perseverance, which will be vital to my success as a college student.
Riding Goals
This year, for the 2015 hill climb season, i plan to place in the top 5 riders of the Altered Stock 250-450cc class and also, for the fist time, race the bike i have built from the ground up in the Altered Stock 700-open class. I also want to race a round of the Rockwell Pro Hill climb series and also race the Glen Helen Hill climb in San Bernadino.
